Celebration
Every child deserves a special day that feels joyful, personal, and full of care.
No Kid Without a Birthday
Through the Birthday Box Project, we celebrate children living at or below poverty with a personalized, joy-filled experience on their special day.
Because no child should go without the moments, memories, and milestones of childhood.
Every child deserves a special day that feels joyful, personal, and full of care.
A birthday reminder can tell a child they are seen, remembered, and worth celebrating.
Moments of joy help shape how children see themselves and what they believe is possible.
Why It Matters
Over the past six years, The Hope Movement has seen how poverty impacts more than basic needs. It can affect confidence, joy, and a child's sense of what is possible.
What we discovered was simple and powerful: when someone shows up at the right moment, belief, dignity, and hope can begin to grow again.
How It Works
Through Title I elementary schools, we identify children who could benefit from a meaningful birthday experience.
Local churches, businesses, nonprofits, and leaders work together to prepare and support each celebration with care.
Every Birthday Box is designed to feel personal and joy-filled, honoring the child behind the moment.
A Growing Movement
Through local partnerships and a shared commitment to dignity, the Birthday Box Project helps children feel celebrated, families feel supported, and communities participate in moments that matter.

The goal is not only a party. It is a moment that tells a child they matter.
Local volunteers and partners make it possible to expand this care to more schools and communities.
